At present the collection consists of several volumes on permanent loan to the university library from the Spiritan USA Eastern Province, together with other publications of Spiritan interest that have been relocated from elsewhere within the library itself. It is intended to build this collection over the coming years both in print and in electronic form.

The room is available to faculty and students; a key may be checked out at the circulation desk in the library.

Search the Spiritan Collection

The room was dedicated to Fr. Edmund Supple, C.S.Sp. on September 5th, 2006, in recognition of his 48 years of outstanding service to the university, the last 18 of which were spent as Curator for Special Collections in the Gumberg Library. The University President, Dr. Charles Dougherty, presented a plaque to Fr. Supple to mark the occasion.
